iPhone 6s Plus vs Moto X: Specs

This is one area that really doesn't matter, as they're both extremely powerful and run completely different OS versions, but some like to know the hard numbers. These are two very powerful phones that will run great no matter what.

iPhone 6s Plus Specs

  • 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080p Retina Display
  • Apple A9 processor with 2GB of RAM
  • 16/64/128GB internal storage (no micro-SD slot)
  • iOS 9
  • 12 Megapixel iSight Rear Camera (4k video recording)
  • 5 Megapixel front camera with Retina Flash (using the screen at max brightness)
  • 2,915 mAh battery
  • 3D Touch Feature

Moto X 2015 Specs

  • 5.7-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD Display
  • 6-core Snapdragon 808 processor with 3GB of RAM
  • 16/32/64 GB of Storage with a Micro-SD slot for expandable storage
  • 21 Megapixel F2.0 Rear and 5 Megapixel Front Camera (front and rear LED flash)
  • 4k Video, HDR Video, Slo-Mo Video and more
  • Pure stock Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
  • Dual Stereo Sound front speakers
  • Aluminum Design
  • 3,000 mAh battery with the world’s fastest “TurboPower” charging
  • Water-repellent coating
  • Moto Maker Customization

As you can see above these are two impressive phones. Motorola went with a more wallet-friendly 6-core processor, but it's still extremely powerful and has 3GB of RAM. On paper the Moto X is better, but the operating systems are so different that it's not really a comparison that matters.

The Moto X has a bigger screen, bigger battery, what could be a better camera, dual front speakers, a real front flash (not using the screen as a flash) and much more. These are two great phablets, but you can only choose one. Take your pick.

Good article. However Motorola (at least in the US) has a payment plan for their phones, no interest.

Motorola has financing. $25 a month through Comenity bank. Apple has a Lease option through Citizen Bank and financing options through Barclays and Paypal credit.
