iPhone 6s vs Galaxy S6: Price & Release Date

iPhone 6s vs Galaxy S6: Price & Release Date

Last but finally not least, is the price. Buyers should know going in that Apple charges a premium, and the iPhone 6s is no exception to the Apple ways. The iPhone 6s is more than the Galaxy S6, even on payment plans. Here's some numbers for potential buyers.

iPhone 6s 16GB - $649 (64GB $749, 128GB $849)

Galaxy S6 32GB - $576 (64GB $672, 128GB $799)

As you can see the Galaxy S6 with double the storage at 32GB will cost users $73 less than the iPhone 6s with a smaller screen and less storage. Then the 64GB model is only $22 more than the 16GB iPhone 6s.

This is a huge difference. Getting nearly 3x the storage for a few dollars more, not to mention carrier pricing with payment plans makes the Galaxy S6 ring in around $24 per month.

However, Apple is now offering it's own upgrade plan as well which will get buyers the iPhone 6s starting at $32 a month and let you upgrade each year. That's a pretty decent start, but still more than $24 a month for the 32GB Galaxy S6 from Verizon and other carriers.

In the end this will be a very tough choice for many. Users will likely decide based on the price, or if they're an Android fan or an iOS fan. The Galaxy S6 is a great phone and has plenty to offer, but so does the iPhone 6s with its new 12 megapixel camera and potentially game-changing new 3D Touch technology.
Another potential issue with buying is the fact that the Galaxy S6 is readily available now, and deals surface often. The iPhone 6s won't be here for another few weeks, and pre-orders will start first, orders will sell out, and some colors or storage options likely won't remain available for long.

The key difference is that one runs iOS and the other runs Android. You USE the OS and the apps. You do NOT use the screen resolution and nobody notices the differences between these CPUs during actual USE of the device. If you say do, then you are a liar. It’s like the old days when Windows users bragged about their CPU being .25 ghz or whatever faster than a Mac. Give it a rest.

A 750p screen on the brand new iphone 6s and apple charges over $1000 for this top line flagship phone. Android budget phones have 750p screens. WoW!

Samsung is the kind of phone I have. I have an S5 and I actually think I will never need another phone in my life. VERY easy to use, the autocorrect is NEVER a problem, and the camera is wonderful!!! that plus expandable storage…you can get SD cards of different sizes at places like Best Buy. I walked into the store on the day that I was going to get my phone, ready to get the iPhone 5, but then I played with the Samsung and made a quick decision change. I’ve had my phone for over a year now and I never want to get rid of it. It’s perfect.

S6 is still much better than iPhone 6S with features like high resolution screen, fast charging through adaptive fast charger and even Samsung’s latest Note 5 support fast charging with fast wireless charger for Note 5. Samsung is way better than Apple.
