iPhone 6s vs. iPhone 5s: 5 Things We Learned in June
Bigger, Better iPhone 6s Screen
2015 rumors are still undecided on a 4-inch iPhone 6c but they have firmed up around two new iPhone 6s models, a 4.7-inch iPhone 6s and a 5.5-inch iPhone 6s Plus. These screen sizes would match the sizes from last year and dwarf the 4-inch iPhone 5s. Bloomberg and well-respected KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo both believe that Apple will use Force Touch technology on the iPhone 6s display. This is the same pressure sensitive gesture tech that's found on the Apple Watch. If you're not familiar with how it works, Force Touch on the Apple Watch lets users press with more force on the display to activate a second series of commands. The feature could be aimed at power users rather than regular users but it's an exciting difference nonetheless. iOS 9 rumors point to support for Force Touch gestures and it's looking like this will be one of the features Apple uses to sell consumers on its brand new flagship iPhone models. It should go without saying that the iPhone 5s doesn't come with Force Touch technology.
