The iPhone 5s is small and features an aluminum and glass design like the iPhone 5. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are big and they feature an all-metal design. Apple's iPhone 6s, like the iPhone 5s, is expected to borrow from its predecessor. Bloomberg's report wasn't the first to suggest a familiar design for the iPhone 6s. According to Kuo, the iPhone 6s could feature a thicker, stronger design. Kuo, who accurately predicted many iPhone 6 and iPhone 5s features, says that Apple will use a stronger aluminum in the iPhone 6s design. This could be big from a durability standpoint. The Apple Watch Sport is made of 7000 series aluminum. The aluminum is 60% stronger than traditional aluminum and less dense than stainless steel. We've been using the Apple Watch Sport for a number of weeks and we haven't seen any wear and tear. iPhone 6s rumors point to a design that will be 0.2 millimeters thicker than the iPhone 6. Even if that's the case, it will still be thinner than the iPhone 5s. Apple's iPhone 5s is 7.6mm thin but that can't match the iPhone 6. | ||||||
