iPhone 6s Production Has Reportedly Begun

According to Bloomberg, early iPhone 6s production has begun ahead of an unknown iPhone 6s release date. It's important to note that this is early production. The company is expected to ramp up production in July ahead of the device's arrival.

What this means is that the iPhone 6s release is on track for this year and it should replace the iPhone 6 sometime this fall. Again, it could be two and a half months or more before the phone actually makes it out onto shelves which means leaves tons of room for iPhone 6s rumors.

One thing to note is that "final assembly is expected to be smooth because the design of the new iPhones is similar to the current model" though "the timing and production volume of Force Touch-enabled phones could be impacted by the supply and yield of the displays."

In other words, if you don't pre-order, you might not get your iPhone 6s in September or whenever it arrives. Something to think about if you're already feeling desperate. The iPhone 6 is certainly going to be tempting for some of you as we push into July.
