Kindle Sold Out: Hint at New Release?

Customers wanting to order an Amazon Kindle are finding out that it is temporarily sold out. Is that production or demand problem or does it hint at something new coming in the Kindle line? No one really knows and of course Amazon isn’t saying much other than that it will notify customers when Kindles are available for shipping. SlashGear points out that when this occurred with the first release of the Kindle, Amazon posted info on when shipping would happen. But that’s like a century ago in the mobile reader era. Rumors had been bouncing around that a new Kindle would appear in August, and that of course makes sense given the popularity of these kind of gadgets for the holiday season.
