Leaked iPhone 5 Parts Fit Inside Leaked Casing

As the rumored launch of the iPhone 5 comes closer parts of the phone are leaking all over the web, and most of them seem to fit together fairly well.

Repair site iResQ obtained a few of the leaked iPhone 5 parts along with the back casing we’ve seen before, and decided to put the parts together to see how they fit. It turns out that all of the parts fit together cleanly, though the site is still missing a few pieces. The leaked parts include the smaller dock connector with ribbon cable and headphone jack.

The two leaked parts fit well in the leaked iPhone 5 casing, though the case still needs more pieces to make the parts fit perfectly. The final assembly will include some plastic pieces that hold the parts in place to fill the holes in the photos.

Some holes in the assembly will also fit the speaker and microphone for the new iPhone. iResQ believes the new iPhone will still only have one speaker and one microphone on the bottom. The holes are much larger, however, which could result in a larger, better sounding speaker, at least we hope that’s the case.

The images also give a good view of the screw holes in the iPhone 5 back case. While we now the asymmetrical screw isn’t real, it looks like Apple will use smaller screws than the ones in the iPhone 4S. That won’t mean much to most users, but it could mean the device is harder to take apart than the iPhone 4S, which is already hard to disassemble.

Apple will likely announce the new iPhone on September 12. The rumors iPhone 5 release date is just nine days after the announcement on September 21.The new iPhone will likely have a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 640×11364G LTE, a slightly larger battery, and a smaller dock connector.
