Lenovo and Dell Get Certified for Wireless USB

Published

on

With two notebook OEMs leading the pack, wireless USB is finally making it out of the starting gate. Dell and Lenovo are the first OEMs to get certified for this new technology with the T61 and T61P ( Lenovo ), and Inspiron 1720 ( Dell ).

It wouldn’t surprise me to see wireless USB make its way to both of the companies Tablet PC line soon, and for other Tablet PC OEMs to begin implementing it. Could this become as much of a standard feature as Bluetooth? Any progress in cutting cables for mobile users is definitely seen as a good thing!
