Lenovo W700ds Dual Screen ThinkPad on Video Briefly

w700ds1 Remember the Lenovo ThinkPad W700ds with a dual screen? You know the one that Rob said he wanted very badly? Well here’s a brief (very brief) video (after the jump) of the W700ds with showing the dual screen sliding in and out. Why do I think that when folks get one of these, they’ll be sliding this screen in and out just like in the video?

We’ve also discovered that this will set you back a few pennies costing $3600, but it comes loaded down with more than just two screens. We’re talking a choice of Intel Core 2 Quad processors, NVidia Quadro FX 3700 M GPU, up to 8GB of RAM, and you can get up to 960GB on an HDD or SSD. And don’t forget that Wacom digitizer on the palm rest. It will weigh in at 11lbs, so it isn’t a light and mobile alternative.

why didn’t they put another screen on the opposite side for some symmetry? after all, if 2 screens is good, 3 must be even better.
