Let Dell Know Your Thoughts About Tablet PCs

Marc Orchant links to Dell’s knew feedback mechanism, Dell Ideastorm, where all sorts of new ideas are bubbling up from customers. Actually the ideas aren’t all that new, as the feedback addresses a number of issues that Dell has been confronting during their market share and popularity decline. Marc suggests that this is a great forum to let Dell know that you would like to see a Tablet PC and I agree with that thought and his reasoning as well. Dell’s entry into the Tablet PC market would be a big boost and certainly a welcome one. Note also that there are a number of entries counseling Dell to drop the pre-loaded software (CRAPWARE) or at least give customers an option to not have it installed. I hope Dell isn’t the only OEM reading those entries.
