LG G6 Release: 5 Reasons to Wait & 3 Reasons Not To

Wait for the Stunning Metal Design

With the LG G5 last year the company had a modular phone and a full aluminum design. Although it didn't really feel like metal. In fact, some believed it was plastic with a metal coating over the top. That won't be the case this year. 

The LG G6 is using a premium all-metal frame that should make it their best smartphone to date. It needs to be if they want to compete with Samsung. 

Leaked photos like the one we're seeing here suggests a beautiful design, a unique texture on back (brushed or textured metal) and chamfered edges for a high-end look and feel. It's an early prototype so certainly don't take this as an idea of the finished product. At the end of the day potential buyers need to know it will be a beautiful phone. LG is really stepping things up for 2017. 

The entire body will be sealed, which means there will be no removable battery. However, this allows for a better design, premium materials, a bigger battery and more importantly -- water resistant. It should have an IP68 dust and water resistant rating. Something many can appreciate.
