However, there are also a few reasons to wait. And potentially skip the G6 by getting something right now. If you can't wait and need a phone, there are several great choices as we speak. Like the Google Pixel XL, LG V20 (with a removable battery) or even the Galaxy S7 Edge. 

Now I know what you're thinking, those are last year phones. Yes, but so far all indications suggest LG won't have the latest and greatest specs. Well, at least not in one crucial area. The Snapdragon 835 processor that will power the Galaxy S8 and most phones in 2017, won't be in the LG G6. Apparently Samsung bought them ALL. Until late April. So LG had to wait, or use the Snapdragon 821. 

The Snapdragon 821 is in the Google Pixel, OnePlus 3T and other phones from back in October. Meaning those who wait won't be getting the absolute latest and greatest in technology. Potentially leaving some to simply get the LG V20 right now at a discount, instead. 

In the end if you can't wait, don't feel too bad. Several phones are available now and will be wonderful for years to come.
