LG can't seem to make up their mind when it comes to screen sizes. The G4 had a 5.5-inch screen but last year with the G5 they went back to 5.3-inches. It was a perfect middle ground compares to Samsung and LG, but this year its getting bigger again. 

With the G5 users get a 5.3-inch Quantum HD 2560 x 1440 IPS display. It looks good with decent colors, and many enjoyed it. Get ready though, their new screen is way better. 

Completing the G6 is an all-new smaller bezel wrapping around a 5.7-inch Quad-HD IPS LCD display. The corners are rounded, adding style and durability, and giving us almost all screen real-estate on the front. It's a huge difference. The display is a little bigger but in terms of technology not a lot else has changed. We don't need a higher resolution either. So you're basically just getting a bigger screen, rounded edges, and a better bezel-less experience.
