LG’s First Nebook Coming to the U.S.

lgx120.jpgThe LG X120 netbook is going to be available exclusively at RadioShack in the near future. It will cost $180 as long as you subscribe to AT&T’s 3G service for two years.

This netbook is pretty much what you’d expect from a subsidized netbook. The LG X120 comes with a 10.1″ display, 1.6GHz Intel Atom processor, a 160GB hard drive and 1GB of RAM. It comes with Windows XP, which is a good thing if you’re trying to stretch your netbook’s battery life. LG’s also bundling SmartOn, an instant-on Linux environment that includes a web browser and media player.

I recommend letting subsidies steer your netbook buying decision.
