We don’t know an awful lot about Mass Effect Andromeda’s multiplayer experience. Bioware has yet to show the feature off in great detail. The studio has yet to announce a beta testing phase for it.

Multiplayer will have “new rules” according to Bioware Lead Designer Ian Frazier. He confirmed this after fans noticed that a Krogan made use of a shield in a recently released multiplayer video instead of a barrier. We also know that multiplayer will feature booster packs. Bioware and Electronic Arts are offering some to fans that pre-order the game ahead of release.
