It's important to know that one of the game's big components will not be available on the Metal Gear Solid 5 release date. Metal Gear Solid 5 comes with an expansive single player mode but it also includes a Metal Gear Online mode that will pit you against other players. Konami says that Metal Gear Online will be released on October 6th for consoles but that it will be delayed until 2016 for Windows PC users, a huge blow for those that were hoping to stick it to other players in September. Metal Gear Online for PC will be released sometime in January 2016, after the holidays are over. A specific release date isn't clear. | |||||||||||

The motherbase multiplayer will be in at launch. so multiplayer is still in the game just not MGO
