Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 3000

Published

on

I am at Staples and just happened across the Microsoft Mobile Mouse 3000. They are quite comfortable, stylish, and priced right at 29.99. Too bad the USB receiver isn’t as small as the Logitech Nano.

Worth checking out if you are in need of a mobile mouse.

I liked the look and feel of it, but I wish all their mouse/keyboards were bluetooth.

I don’t under stand why mice like this are popular. I love my bluetooth mouse (Anycomm BT-100 no receiver needed) I have it attached to my X200 Tablet. All I need to do it take it out of my bag and flip the switch to one and click the button once or twice to get ti connected to my system. Why arn’t more companies taking advantage of Bluetooth. I dont want to have to install more drivers or have a dongle hanging off my system.

I did did remove the rechargeable batteries and replaced them with AAA’s. I easily get 6 months out of the 2 AAA batteries, rather than the few hrs I was getting from the dying rechargeables.

Most computers don’t have Bluetooth. Since my MacBook has Bluetooth I opted for a MS Bluetooth mouse.
