Minecraft Story Mode Won't Have an Open World

Put down your crafting strategy guide and forget about the creepers as you’ve known them before. Minecraft Story Mode is narrative driven and that means you can’t expect gameplay along the lines of what’s available today.

Telltale says that Minecraft Story Mode will focus on Jesse and the group of friends who helped him slay the Ender Dragon. Collectively known as the Order of the Stone, all four members will feature heavily in the game. Players can expect a Warrior, Griever, Architect and Redstone Engineer. It’ll be Jesse and the Order of the Stone’s job to stop some new threat from destroying everything they’ve worked hard to protect already.
