One of the biggest complaints of the Moto G (and the Moto X for that matter) is in the camera department. Last year it had a average at best 8 megapixel camera on the back, and a lousy 2.1 front camera like many cheap devices tend to offer.
In 2015 though, Motorola upped its game. The new 3rd Gen Moto G has the same 13 megapixel dual LED flash on the back as the Moto X from last year, and they even added an impressive 5 megapixel camera to the front. This means photos are great, but not Galaxy S6 ir iPhone 6 good, and selfies turn out surprisingly better than expected. Many who buy a budget phone still want a good camera, which often isn't the case. With the 2015 Moto G though, you'll have a camera that's good enough for daily use, casual photos, and social sharing galore.
