Motorola Droid RAZR HD: New Photos Leak Out
Just a day after the international Motorola RAZR HD appeared in some new photos, Verizon’s Motorola Droid RAZR HD decided to do exactly the same thing, leaking to the surface today in some on its clearest photos yet.
The photos have appeared on DroidForums, courtesy of Droid-Life, and they depict the Droid RAZR HD in the wild. While the photos themselves don’t reveal anything new, they do confirm quite a few things.

First, this is a Verizon bound device. Second, it will be hitting the carrier’s 4G LTE network at some point in the future. Three, the device is still running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and not Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. And four, it doesn’t have the same ridiculous looking back that the international RAZR HD does.
Instead, Verizon owners have a nicely designed Kevlar back to look forward to.
We also have confirmation of the device’s HD display which will likely employ the same ColorBoost technology that is found on the Motorola Atrix HD.

So, now that the device is out in the open and its specifications all but confirmed, it should only be a matter of time before Verizon and Motorola confirm the device as real.
We have yet to hear anything about a Droid RAZR HD release date and it’s possible that the companies will announce this phone without anything concrete.
However, the phone has passed through the FCC which bodes well for a release sometime in the weeks ahead.
