MusicReader Demo using Lenovo Tablet PC’s

The Tablet Education Blog links to a YouTube video showing some Lenovo Tablet PC’s and some touchscreens from A1 Touch.  Looks kind of cool how they use the touchscreen and the Tablet PC’s to flip pages of music and also select new songs.

MusicReader is software that in combination with a Tablet PC should offer the solution for the problems musicians have with (paper) sheet music. These are problems of individual musicians as well as problems in ensembles and orchestras. The turning of pages is for example easier and the conductor can annotate the parts of the musicians remotely. MusicReader also anticipates on the developments of digital sheet music, more and more sheet music becomes available in digital form.
