Mystery Motorola Handset Caught on Camera, Is It The Droid Bionic?

Published

on

What you see here is a mysterious Motorola phone that employs a large screen, new MotoBlur and no name. The image, leaked by PopHerald, could be any number of things but speculation currently rests on one of two scenarios. This is either the Motorola Droid Bionic or an unannounced device, possibly the Motorola Targa.

Motorola Mystery Device

At first glance, it would appear to be the upcoming Motorola Droid 3. However, the Droid 3 has its front facing camera on the opposite side from what we’ve seen. The Motorola Triumph also comes to mind but the UI bar you see in this photo is blue signifying that this device is not running stock Android like the Triumph will have when it arrives late next month.

If you recall, the last known pictures of the Droid Bionic had the front facing camera on the left side so it’s very possible that what we’re looking at here is the phone that many of you out there are rightfully waiting for. I have a feeling in my gut that it’s not so I’ve got to ask.

So people, a large screened Motorola device running a custom UI over Android with a front facing camera on the left side of the screen. Think it’s the Droid Bionic?  The Targa? Or do you think it’s just the Droid 3?

@Adam:disqus .  That matches up pretty close to the recent pics of the other so called Bionic pics. The #3 Bionic on your story on june 23rd (the real Bionic please stand up).  It has that same shiny chrome looking edging. Same side front camera, etc.  Could be, I like that chrome edge!

Motorola this is BS!! Not one bit convinced this is the Bionic, hoping it isn’t. Chrome is cheap looking and reminds me of the stupid voyager from back in the day. Still looks to have a slide out keyboard otherwise the chunk of chrome at the bottom of the phone is pointless!

It’s NOT a Android phone since it obviously has a WINDOWS OS! Get some sense!
