.NET 3.0 announced and released
At Mobile Connections, they announced the availability of .NET 3.0, to the applause of many developers. If you are running Vista, .NET 3.0 is native, so you won’t need it. However, to run and develop managed applications on any other operating system, you will want to download and install .NET 3.0.
I’ve seen some great Tablet PC Windows Presentation Foundation apps demoed at Mobile Connections and am totally looking forward to seeing more WPF apps coming out as a result of .NET 3.0 being officially released.
