New Use For Tablet PC/UMPC: Mobile Bridal Registries
The Gadgets Weblog links to an interesting find in The globeandmail.com. William Ashley, a Toronto department store is using a tablet based on the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet as a walk around bridal registry device. Designed to help get the guys into the process a bit more, appealing to that geek thing, you walk around the store, spot an item and enter a code on the Wish Pad. For those who get lost in the store there is even a GPS locator, or you can page a registry assistant.
Adds a whole new meaning to walking down the aisle.
