We haven't seen anything emerge for owners of the Nexus 7 3G, Nexus 7 LTE or Nexus 9 LTE but we'd be shocked, shocked, if Google released Android 5.1.1 and its fixes for the Wi-Fi models and not the cellular models.
Owners of these models are experiencing problems on Android 5.1 and below and they too will benefit from an Android 5.1.1 release. So, it's really difficult to see Google holding this update back. We'd count on these updates coming after the start of the Nexus Android 5.1.1 roll out for smartphones but we'd expect all three to arrive at some point. Just don't expect Google to confirm either way until the roll outs themselves begin. |
