Nexus 6p vs Nexus 6 2014: 5 Things Buyers Need to Know

The camera has always been a weak spot for Nexus devices. Even though the Nexus 6 last year had a 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, it still wasn't that great, and was beat by older devices like the iPhone 6 and Galaxy S5. In 2015, Google looks to change that.

The new Nexus 6P will have an improved 20.7 megapixel camera with a laser auto-focus, similar to the LG G4, a dual LED flash, and maybe something else under the black bar on back with an extra feature we're not yet aware of.

It will most likely be leaps and bounds better than last year, but we'll need to try it ourselves before we say more. Google knows the camera needed work, so hopefully the new Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P deliver.
