Nexus Android 6.0 Release Date Getting Close

We should out about the Nexus Android 6.0 release date on stage during the launch event and we're expecting the release date for older models to fall in and around that September 29th date.

Google's already said that Developer Preview 3 is the near-final version of the update. And with that update out and Google on track, we see no reason to delay the Android Marshmallow update for older Nexus smartphones and tablets.

We might not see every single Nexus device get Android 6.0 on September 29th but we'd expect the roll out to start around then. Last year, Google took a staggered approach with Android Lollipop. This is pretty standard for Google and its Nexus roll outs. We wouldn't expect to see them all roll out at once.

The exciting part though is that we're close. The end of September is just a few short weeks away and it looks like Lollipop's days are numbered. For some of you, particularly those dealing with problems, that has to feel good.

Will the 2013 Nexus 7 get Android 6.0? The tablet is only 2 years old, so Google should support it for one more year

It should be much better in specifications than Kitkat or Lollypop, which I would say are quite flops. So next big thing is coming soon – Android M. Can’t wait more !!!
