Nokia Lumia 900 Windows Phone to Hit U.S. in Early 2012?

Published

A few weeks ago, we heard that Nokia’s flagship Windows Phone had yet to arrive. Well, it would appear that that device has been outed today as the Nokia Lumia 900, a phone that is reportedly scheduled to hit the United States at some point in early 2012. The Nokia 900 will apparently keep a similar design to the Lumia 800 which was introduced last month at Nokia World but will have a bigger screen and some other improvements on board when it arrives.

The Lumia 900 supposedly has a 1.4GHz processor, a 4.3-inch ClearBlack AMOLED display, an 8MP camera which we assume is rear facing, and it looks like it will be powered by Windows Phone Tango, which is Microsoft’s next software update.

Other than that, details remain scarce.

The Lumia 800.

Those specifications line up with those we saw from the Nokia Ace, a device that has leaked out before with LTE capabilities and has been rumored to be heading to AT&T. It was rumored to be out in Q1 of 2012, same as the Nokia Lumia 900.

So it would appear that they are one in the same and that we could see a Nokia-built, LTE Windows Phone out in just a few months.
