New Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date details continue to emerge for U.S. buyers ahead of the Galaxy Note 4 release date in mid-October.

In the weeks since the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 announcement in early September, we’ve seen a ton of new Galaxy Note 4 release date details emerge for buyers all over the world. The past three weeks in particular have been exciting as we’ve seen release dates confirmed, Galaxy Note pre-orders start, and Galaxy Note 4 price details arrive. We also saw the Galaxy Note 4 land in Korea ahead of the more than 100 markets that are set to receive the device in October.

Earlier this month, AT&T and Verizon started taking pre-orders ahead of the Galaxy Note 4 release date on October 17th. That date applies to AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon. T-Mobile started taking pre-orders on Wednesday and on Friday, Sprint Galaxy Note 4 pre-orders went live for the very first time. And while many of the Galaxy Note 4 release date details in the U.S. are known, we’ve seen new Galaxy Note 4 release details emerge for consumers today.

Best Buy, one of the nation’s leading retailers, has revealed a number of exciting, and disappointing, Galaxy Note 4 release date details as it prepares for the device’s release in mid-October.

First, the retailer has started taking pre-orders for the AT&T, Sprint and Verizon models. The retailer, as expected, is not taking pre-orders for the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 or the U.S. Cellular Galaxy Note 4, the latter of which has yet to show up in early orders.

It also appears that Best Buy is offering these pre-orders ahead of an October 17th release date. In other words, the U.S. Galaxy Note 4 release date probably won’t move up to join other regions around the world. Samsung moved the Galaxy Note 4 release in Korea up to last week and the Galaxy Note 4 is set to arrive early for regions like the UK. The UK will get the Galaxy Note 4 on October 10th.

Best Buy is going to be charging $299.99 for the AT&T Galaxy Note 4 or Verizon Galaxy Note 4 on contract and it’s going to be sticking with Sprint’s shocking Galaxy Note 4 price on-contract. Sprint will be charging $50 more for the Galaxy Note 4. Best Buy will not undercut the carrier and will sell the Sprint model for $350.

There are a few deals to be had here though. Right now, it appears that Sprint is charging $199.99 on-contract for the charcoal AT&T Galaxy Note 4. While this might be a glitch in the system, it’s available to us right now and it delivers a $100 discount. We were able to go all the way up to the final purchase with that $199.99 price locked in.

While that deal probably won’t last, two other Galaxy Note 4 deals probably will. Best Buy is offering discounts on both the AT&T and Verizon Galaxy Note 4 off-contract. It’s charging $800 ($20 difference) for the AT&T Galaxy Note 4 off-contract and $692 ($8 difference) for the Verizon model. While those deals aren’t substantial, they are better than the asking prices directly thru carriers. It will charge $799.99 for the Sprint Galaxy Note 4 off-contract.

Best Buy is offering a trade-in deal that will allow buyers to trade-in devices for a $200 Best Buy gift card. That deal lasts until October 16th which means that it applies to those looking to pre-order. This deal comes in addition to the Galaxy Note 3 deals that it’s offering right now ahead of the Galaxy Note 4 release date in the U.S. The Galaxy Note 3, which originally was priced at $299.99, is now just $99 on-contract thru Best Buy.

Galaxy Note 4 Features - Sensors

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is an impressive smartphone and it comes loaded with high-powered specs including its 5.7-inch Quad HD display, its brand new 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, its new S Pen, its Android 4.4.4 KitKat software that’s backed by TouchWiz, its new design that comes with both plastic and metal materials, and a whole lot more. It’s a true iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus competitor and one of the more intriguing smartphones of the year.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 is expected to replace the current Galaxy Note 3 and it will be joined later in the year by a brand new Samsung Galaxy Edge, a high-end flagship that could cost even more than the Galaxy Note 4 on Sprint and on other U.S. carriers.

I went to Best Buy in Nashville TN on Sunday, Sept 28th. Best Buy required a $50 deposit for the per order of the note 4. Then they gave me a $50 best buy gift card. I can use the gift card toward the purchase of the phone when it comes in or anything else. When I pick up the new phone I should get a $200 gift card for turning in my old smart phone as long as it is working properly. In addition to their reduced price from best buy if paying full, price ; I will end up getting $250 to apply towards cost of phone or anything else. That is a good deal and you are not locked into 2 year contract and I don’t loss my grandfathered data plan. :-)
