Earlier in the year, there was a leaked LG Android budget smartphone known as the Gelato, and now it appears that the LG Gelato Q may be coming to Sprint‘s prepaid Virgin Mobile brand as the LG Optimus Slider. The device was previously rumored to be launched on September 11, but that date came and went without an announcement to be made.

Most recently, Best Buy‘s website had listed the Optimus Slider as coming soon, showing that it would be available on Virgin Mobile USA for $199.99 without a contract. The device will be an evolution of the original Optimus One, which as released a year ago as the Optimus S on Sprint and Optimus V on Virgin Mobile, and will come with a QWERTY slider. According to Phone Arena, the keyboard will slide in portrait orientation.

Not much is known by way of specs at this time, though the device is expected to have a 3.2-inch display and a 3-megapixel camera.

I just got a $827.89 iPad2 for only $103.37 and my mom got a $1499.99 HTV for only $251.92, they are both coming tomorrow. I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prîces at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use GrаbPenny.сom
