While the Ratchet and Clank PS4 release date won't emerge until 2016, retailers like Amazon are already taking pre-orders for the game. In addition, Insomniac has already detailed one of the pre-order bonuses that will be coming to those that order the game early. 

Stevenson says that those who put in an early order will be rewarded with a popular weapon from Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando dubbed The Bouncer. The gun launches tons of tiny little bombs that home in and bounce towards their enemies. Those who pre-order will get a message about the pre-order bonus code a few days before the game's release.

It's not clear if this will be the only pre-order bonus Sony and Insomniac use to lure in early orders.
