Galaxy S8+ Best for Power Users & Video

Galaxy S8+ Best for Power Users & Video

In closing, there isn't too much that needs to be said about these phones. They both have the same 12 Dual Pixel rear camera, their both IP68 dust and water-resistance, and they both have 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM. Everything about the overall specifications sheet is exactly the same.

The only real difference between the two is the Galaxy S8+ has a bigger 6.2-inch display, and the battery is larger at 3,500 mAh instead of only 3,000 mAh.

But those two points are hugely important. Especially when it's only $100 more, which is only $5-6 a month extra with a payment plan from carriers. A few dollars more gets you a significantly bigger screen and much better battery life. All while performance stays the same, but everything else is better.

Power users will love the extra screen real-estate to get more done. View more of a webpage, emails or tweets. Enjoy stunning Android games with exceptional details, clarify and see more while you play. Not to mention while watching video. Yes the phones use a weird 18:9 aspect ratio that most content isn't made for. So similar to widescreen TV's you will have black bars on each end, rather than on the top and bottom. However, Samsung's built-in player lets you zoom in and watch videos on the full 6.2-inch screen, and most video players have a similar feature. Including Netflix.

Basically the massive 6.2-inch screen and all-day battery life is perfect for everyone. Power users, gamers, those who watch a lot of video or content, VR and more. If you are a hard-core users or just want the most from the best phone on the market -- look no further than the Galaxy S8+.
