By default, the iPhone doesn't let you see the file system to access files and add files. 

When you jailbreak you can see the file system using apps that allow you greater control over your phone. 

This lets you install tweaks manually, block iAds, open and change files that the iPhone wouldn't otherwise let you work on and much more

You'll need to install a file manager app from Cydia and then you can get rolling.

    For me main reason to jailbreak iOS 10.2 is utilizing the cydia tweaks to fix iPhone iOS 10 battery life. Yalu team did great job.
