Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Front Panel Leak Hints at Larger Display
While several Samsung Galaxy Note 2 renders left critics and consumers dubious of their authenticity, a new leak of a front panel seems to be, at least at the moment, pretty legit. If that’s the case, we may finally have our first real look at the upcoming Galaxy Note 2.
Nowherelese.fr, a French website, has leaked what it claims is a front panel for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 2. So not only do we get a look at a possible form factor but we also see that the device is indeed likely to sport a 5.5-inch display instead of a 5.3-inch display.
A 5.5-inch display has been rumored all along and this seems to confirm those rumors.
This could be the Samsung Galaxy Note 2’s front panel.

As for the form factor, it looks like Samsung will keep the home button that the international Galaxy Note had when it launched last year. The setup is very reminiscent of the Galaxy S III that launched in May of this year.
It also appears to have an extremely thin bezel which would make it easier to hold than the previous version of the Samsung Galaxy Note.
Of course, it’s entirely possible that Samsung is putting up smoke and mirrors around the actual Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Thus far, it has kept a tight lid on the Galaxy Note 2 and we’ve only seen a couple of renders that likely aren’t the real deal, and not the actual device itself.
This leak seems to be the best shot at actually becoming the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 though it’s impossible at this point to confirm anything.

Fortunately, we just have a few days to go before Samsung announces the device. The company has scheduled an August 29th press conference in Germany wherein it will show off its next phablet device.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is also rumored to have a flexible OLED display which will allow the company to put in a bigger battery, a quad-core Exynos processor, S-Pen support and more RAM.
The software it’s running remains unclear and both Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich have been rumored.

I am with T-Mobile and was thinking of getting the first Note but sounds like I would prefer the Note 2, I like big screens. But since T-Mobile just got the old Note I would not expect them to get the new one for a long time. Will the Note 2 be hackable or whatever to get it to work with T_Mobile.
I know the AT & T Note was successfully made to work with T-Mobile although I believe they said it did not receive a cell signal as will is it might have and it did not operate at T-Mobile’s fastest speeds. Any thoughts appreciated. I have loved gottabemobile for years now. Thanks.
