Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Sign-Up Page Arrives for U.S. Customers

While the Samsung remains mum on a specific U.S. release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, the company today posted a sign-up page where interested customers can go to sign up for more information about the device.

Samsung a short time ago launched a sign-up page for customers in the United States who wish to be informed about the details regarding the Galaxy Note 2’s availability in the United States.

The sign-up page allows customers to input their email address in order to receive official information in regards to the Galaxy Note 2 U.S. launch which is set to take place later this year.

Samsung did not announce a specific date for the U.S. launch of the Galaxy Note 2, only saying that it would arrive sometime later this year.

American carriers have yet to pledge their support for the new 5.5-inch phablet either.

Underneath the press image on the sign-up page, Samsung states that:

This leaves open the possibility that the American variant of the Galaxy Note 2 could look different than the device that launched today. This year’s original Galaxy Note model for AT&T did not feature a home button like the international Galaxy Note and something similar could develop with the Galaxy Note 2.

Samsung did announce a launch window for regions in Europe, Asia and the Middle East saying that the Galaxy Note 2 would launch at some point in October.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is the successor to the original Galaxy Note and on paper, it appears to trump the original in just about every possible way.

The device will be coming with a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD display with 1280×720 resolution with an aspect ratio of 16:9.

It will also feature a speedy quad-core processor, 4G LTE and HSPA+, a massive battery and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, Google’s latest mobile operating system.
