The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will arrive in Times Square on September 4th at 1PM, when Samsung live streams the Galaxy Note 3 announcement from IFA 2013 in Berlin, and there is a very good chance users in Time’s square will be able to get a Galaxy Note 3 hands on before heading home for the night.

Samsung posted a teaser image this morning, that proclaims “Time to Take Note!” below “The Next Galaxy” on a gigantic billboard in Times Square.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 teaser goes even further telling onlookers that the event will take place, “Right here at Times Square.”

Based on Samsung’s past actions and the rumored fast Galaxy Note 3 release date it appears that Samsung will offer fans in Times Square a chance to get a Galaxy Note 3 hands on experience right after the announcement.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 event will stream live on YouTube, but users that want to see it up close can go to Times Square on September 4th at 1 PM where Samsung will likely show the event live on a large monitor and then let consumers play with the Galaxy Note 3 right after the event.

Samsung held a similar remote event for the Samsung Galaxy S4 in Times Square, where consumers could then go hands on with the device after the official announcement. The video below shows Samsung’s Times Square Galaxy event including the hands on experience it offers.

Unlike most new smartphone events, this event is not limited to members of the press and industry insiders. Anyone who comes down to Times Square on September 4th should have a chance to get a Galaxy Note 3 hands on.

The Samsung event starts at 1PM eastern / 10 AM Pacific and should last close to an hour, with numerous skits and over the top activities included.

Users that want to get a Galaxy Note 3 hands on before the general public should plan on long lines after the event wraps up.

Leaks indicate Samsung will deliver a larger 5.7-inch 1080P display on the Galaxy Note 3, but the overall size of the Note 3 will be very similar to the Galaxy Note 2. The image below shows the Galaxy Note 3 size compared to the top smartphones of 2013.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 cases and Galaxy Note 3 accessories are already available on Amazon and other vendors ahead of the release, as third-party companies gear up for what could be a very fast Galaxy Note 3 release date.

Multiple rumors point to a swift Galaxy Note 3 release date, which could arrive before the end of September in many countries. About the only way I would stand in line to play with a Note 3 would be if I got to take one home when I was done!

On your comment about a U.S, release date, I was speaking with a certain cell phone company employee and supposedly we are looking at September also for approx $350 at first.
