Samsung Galaxy Note 3 rumors have suggested all along that the Galaxy Note 3 launch date will be taking place sometime during the month of September with IFA 2013 in Berlin being an event that they have honed in on. Until today, no specific date had been mentioned though new information suggests that the Galaxy Note 3 launch date could take place on September 4th.

For months now, Galaxy Note 3 rumors have waged on with features and release details leaking out on a fairly regular basis. Thus far, rumors have suggested that the device will be touching down around the time that IFA 2013 kicks off in Berlin. The device itself will more than likely be announced at an Unpacked event, Episode 2, sometime around the early part of September, at least, that’s what logic and rumors suggest.

However, we hadn’t heard of a specific Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launch date though Samsung’s past would show that the company likes to introduce its Galaxy Note series just ahead of IFA and then show it off at the show. Today, a report from Android Geeks suggests that the rumors are dead on and that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 launch date is going to be September 4th.

It appears that Samsung will follow protocol and send out invites to the media event sometime in August and the invites will be for an Unpacked event set to take place in Berlin, though, ahead of IFA 2013.

This is not the release date as the report suggests but rather, the announcement date. What this means is that Samsung will take the veil down from the device and showcase it to the world. At that point, it will likely give some sort of release date, specific or vague for the Galaxy Note 3.

The Galaxy Note 3 release date has been rumored for late September, something that makes sense given the company’s focus on closing the gap between launch and release. We’ve also seen the company try and cut down on wait times in the United States so there is a good chance that we could see the Galaxy Note 3 touch down as early as late September in the U.S. as well.

As for the rest of the new phablet, the device is expected to wield a 5.7-inch to 6-inch display, quad-core processor either a Exynos 5 Octa or Snapdragon 800, a 13MP camera and a Galaxy S4 inspired plastic design. It will more than likely be arriving on a host of U.S. carriers though thus far, only AT&T has been mentioned though it was only said to be engaging Samsung in meetings.
