The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date has seen some of its final details emerge today as AT&T finally confirmed a concrete release date and RadioShack, not wanting to be outdone, also confirmed the arrival of the AT&T Galaxy Note 3 and Sprint Galaxy Note 3 for October 4th both in stores and through its online portal.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 release in the United States is just a few days away and carriers and retailers continue to make their final preparations for the big days. Early this morning, AT&T finally confirmed a specific release date for the Galaxy Note 3, giving it an October 4th release date, or, the same date that many pre-orders will likely touch down. AT&T says that Galaxy Note 3 pre-orders will ship out on October 1st.

The company will join Sprint which is also planning to put the Galaxy Note 3 on sale on October 4th, though unlike AT&T, Sprint decided not to offer a pre-order for the Galaxy Note 3.

Those looking to buy an AT&T Galaxy Note 3 or Sprint Galaxy Note 3 will be able to pick one up through AT&T stores or Sprint stores, but there is also another option that has emerged today.

RadioShack confirmed to Gotta Be Mobile that it will be offering the both the AT&T Galaxy Note 3 and the Sprint Galaxy Note 3 starting on October 4th as well. RadioShack is offering a Trade and Save program wherein Galaxy Note 2 owners can trade in their device and receive $175 off the Galaxy Note 3 sticker price. Owners of the original Galaxy Note will receive $100.

With the Galaxy Note 3 price a little more costly than a typical smartphone, thanks to its massive high-resolution display and bundled S Pen stylus, RadioShack’s offer is going to be one to consider.

The retailer will be offering the devices at their official retail prices which means $299.99 on-contract for the AT&T Galaxy Note 3 and $349.99 for the Sprint Galaxy Note 3. Sprint’s Galaxy Note 3 is the most expensive of all and it’s not clear how long the carrier plans to keep it that way.

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 replaces the Galaxy Note 2 as the company’s go-to big screen device and it will be packing a number of big time features on board. Galaxy Note 3 features include a large 5.7-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 800 processor from Qualcomm, 13MP camera, a new faux leather design, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, enhanced S Pen features, better multitasking and more.

The device will come in 32GB form with a microSD card slot that allows users to expand their storage with up to a 64GB microSD card, bringing the total possible storage up to 96GB.

Soooo lame that the pre-order will arrive same day as the in-store… What is the point in pre-ordering then? I am sure one can pick up their phone from the store faster than the package will arrive. Not cool AT&T…
