The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 release date in the United States has been given final clearance as the AT&T Galaxy Note 3, U.S. Cellular Galaxy Note 3 and Sprint Galaxy Note 3 variants have passed through the clutches of the FCC on their way to shelves in October.

Earlier this month, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was announced for regions around the world, including for the United States, wherein we saw five of the largest carriers confirm the device for arrival. AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon all confirmed the device for arrival with several carriers issuing release dates in October.

Fortunately, we know carriers are still on track for touch down in October thanks to FCC filings that have emerge in the past two days. Yesterday, we saw the T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3 emerge at the FCC, one of the final hurdles before hitting shelves, and we also saw the Verizon Galaxy Note 3 receive clearance there as well.

A short time ago, the AT&T Galaxy Note 3, Sprint Galaxy Note 3 and U.S. Cellular Galaxy Note 3 passed through the FCC on their way to shelves, meaning, the Galaxy Note 3 U.S. release date has gained final clearance in the U.S. and is primed and ready for an arrival during the month of October.

The FCC filings don’t confirm anything we didn’t know already but they are great signs for those that have been gearing up for a purchase during the month of October. Sprint and U.S. Cellular still haven’t given official release dates yet so this is also confirmation that they will likely be getting the device in the near future as well.

AT&T and T-Mobile will be releasing the Galaxy Note 3 in the early part of October while Verizon says that its Galaxy Note 3, which is up for pre-order, will ship out by October 10th. This is far earlier than the Galaxy Note 2 which didn’t arrive until November 29th last year.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will come equipped with a number of big time upgrades including a larger 1080p display, quad-core processor of the Snapdragon 800 variety, new S Pen features, upgraded multitasking, a brand new 13MP camera, 4G LTE, and a faux leather back instead of a polycarbonate one.

It will replace the Galaxy Note 2 as the company’s flagship Galaxy Note though the Galaxy Note 2 should stick around as a budget option for those that don’t need all of the perks of the Galaxy Note 3.

The “R4” variant is not the Sprint phone. The “R” variant is the Sprint phone.

I guess that’s his way of politely saying, “Yeah, I’ve heard of it, but I don’t really care too much for it.” Plus, we all know that a Windows phone is about as intriguing as its namesake Windows OS. Whoohoo, “Live Tiles,” or as the rest of the world has known these little gems for the past few years as, Widgets! The home screen looks like a darn sliding block puzzle. No thanks.

3GB of RAM. 32GB of Internal System Storage/Memory (in the US 4G versions, minus the OS and bloatware that takes up some of that 32GB). Samsung also states a 64GB version but it will most likely only be available in Asian and maybe some European or Australian markets. All versions will then also have a microSD Card Expansion Slot that accepts up to a 64GB microSD card.
