Being the flagship Samsung Galaxy S7 that millions of people want and will buy, we're not expecting to see too many deals surface as the release date arrives. Samsung typically doesn't need big deals like LG or others, so don't expect it.
That said, at least one report that's being somewhat "confirmed" is already stating that along with pre-orders Samsung will be giving out a free Samsung Gear VR headset, which is a $99 value and certainly a deal worth considering. Then, if all the rumors are accurate and there's a micro-SD slot, T-Mobile could offer buyers a free 128GB micro-SD card with a purchase from them vs the competition, like we've seen them do with other smartphones as of late. There could also be a few bundles from select retail stores, savings on Amazon, but for now it's too early to tell. Most likely it will be $199 with a new 2-year contract, or $279 for the Galaxy S7 Edge, and the Galaxy S7 will start out around $599-$649 outright from carriers, like it has almost every year for the past 2-3 years. The Galaxy S7 Edge will cost a little more, and once they're announced on February 21st we'll know for sure. Stay tuned for more details.

Samsung’s September 2015 announcement of their marshmallow OS was, perhaps, one of the worst corporate decisions they ever made. Presumably that OS was ready for prime time as it was released to certain Nexus smartphones for immediate use. Then, nothing for all other smartphones including their own s6 and s6 Edge and for six months.,stll nothing.
Now we’re hearing about the impending release of the s7 and s7 Edge. But, will they, again, delay distribution of those phones for another six months?
Samsung, your customer base remains in total limbo. Please get your act together!
