We went over the general release date moments ago, but most of the information being tossed around is regarding the international model. The promotional giveaway for the Gear VR (if true) ends on March 10th, which would align perfectly with the countless rumors of a March 11th release date in the United States. However, our sources have stated two different dates. I've been told Friday, March 4th all carriers (or just T-Mobile) will have the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in the United States, while that same source claims it could be pushed to March 11th. Either way, it's still just a few weeks after the February 21st announcement, and still a month earlier than last year. That's all we know right now, but as the event nears expect more details to firm up, carrier information to leak, and maybe more. Sta tuned. | |||||||||||

Samsung’s September 2015 announcement of their marshmallow OS was, perhaps, one of the worst corporate decisions they ever made. Presumably that OS was ready for prime time as it was released to certain Nexus smartphones for immediate use. Then, nothing for all other smartphones including their own s6 and s6 Edge and for six months.,stll nothing.
Now we’re hearing about the impending release of the s7 and s7 Edge. But, will they, again, delay distribution of those phones for another six months?
Samsung, your customer base remains in total limbo. Please get your act together!
