September Black Ops 3 Update: 5 Things to Expect, 4 Things Not To

Published

on

The Black Ops 3 DLC 4 release date is today and it looks like there is a new Black Ops 3 1.16 update coming on September 6th as well.

We expect to see a September Black Ops 3 update very soon to prepare for the new DLC. Activision Support reportedly states that a Black Ops 3 1.16 update is coming to your PS4 today. It may also come to the Xbox One and PC.

On August 16th, a new Black Ops 3 1.15 update arrived, and now a few weeks later we are looking forward to the Black Ops 3 1.16 update on PS4, Xbox One and PC ahead of new DLC on PS4.

The Black Ops 3 1.16 update is not something that we expect will deliver the Black Ops 3 DLC 4 maps and content to your PS4 or Xbox One directly, but we typically see a major update to Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 before DLC to do some housecleaning.

What you can expect from the September Black Ops 3 1.16 update and what not to expect.

What you can expect from the September Black Ops 3 1.16 update and what not to expect.

We saw Black Ops 3 DLC 3 weapons in July, which was a little bit of a surprise, and no new guns in August — leaving open the chance that new guns will appear in September or October Black Ops 3 updates.

Nearly a year after the release Treyarch is still pursuing game balance with weapon changes and fixing issues to make the game more fun. April brought a huge weapons change. July delivered another massive change to weapons in Black Ops 3, followed by fine tuning in August.

Hotfixes can deliver some important changes, but there are still many issues that require a full Black Ops 3 update. We’ve seen at least one major Black Ops 3 update a month since the release.

Another part of this walkthrough is to help set expectations so that you know what not to expect from this update. After on and off Black Ops 3 server performance on the Xbox One and lingering issues with team balancing, you shouldn’t get your hopes up that every issue will be fixed.

This is what you need to know about the August Black Ops 3 1.16 update. We start with what to expect and then share what not to expect with these changes.

Expect a Major September Black Ops 3 1.16 Update

Expect a Major September Black Ops 3 1.16 Update

There is a huge Black Ops 3 update every month. Sometimes there are two of them, but we've always seen at least one. Now that

We expect to see a big September Black Ops 3 update arrive on PS4, XBox One and PC.

We will not see any changes before the end of the Call of Duty Championships, which run through Sunday September 4th. That means this could arrive on September 5th or 6th.

Every month since the release we've seen a major patch for the game. Recently we've seen; one update in March, two in April, one in May, two in June, two updates in July and one in August.

Expect to see this update arrive at 1 PM Eastern, 10 AM Pacific when it does arrive.

Don’t bother reading this! They just beat around the bush..

This is what is on page 4: Even though the April Black Ops 3 1.09 update is out, we are still waiting to hear what is new. Expect the same for a second April Black Ops 3 update.

What an awful review. “Expect there to be changes, not big changes, but changes, but some might be big.” “Expect a big update with hot fixes after it.” REALLY???? DO YOU REALLY THINK YOU’VE MADE SOME HUGE DISCOVERY OR ARE ALERTING YOUR READERS TO SOMETHING THAT HAS NEVER BEEN NOTICED?

Don’t expect the fixes to fix everything. -Since when have they ever? Games never stop updating and patching.

    Seriously. Know your audience.

Very sure that what is said in this article is the exact same as what was said in the April update one. And seriously what is it with the “don’t expect big changes but some might be big”, we already know all this stuff so why do we need to be informed of it for the 100th time. And let’s be honest these patches hardly ever make the game fun for anyone unless they are adding something new! All they ever patch is gun stats and all that trash which messes up people’s classes and strategies. (Yet shotguns get buffed 24/7)

This article is pure repetition and its getting ever so slightly agitating. There is no point in Copy & Pasting half of the previous article into another. And seriously? Treyarch make these patches to increase how fun the game is? I think your forgetting this is COD your talking about, patches only screw up the game not make it better. I mean they make it better for all the pathetic scrubs who use shotguns to get easy kills…..why not?

This is the worst article I’ve ever read on anything ever. To save people time. Expect to know what the update is after the update comes out and don’t expect the update to solve all of the worlds problems…
