Santa’s Sexy Galaxy S3 Ad is Funny and Creepy

Published

on

Samsung’s new Galaxy S3 ad features Santa, Mrs. Clause and a sexy video that no one wants to see.

Following in the footsteps of its most recent ad for the Galaxy S3, Samsung’s latest ad shows off the S Beam feature of the S3 and Galaxy Note II, this time with Santa.

The ad is a shot-for-shot remake of the original ad, except instead of a father getting into a cab on the way to the airport it features Santa climbing into his sleigh for his annual ride. The elves tell Santa they have a video to watch on the sleigh, and Mrs. Claus sends it to him via S Beam.

Then Mrs. Claus says she has a video of her own, and sends it to him with a tap of the phones.

Like the original ad, Mrs. Claus’ video isn’t suitable for Santa’s flight. Santa looks flustered as the sleigh takes off and Mrs. Claus and the elves wave goodbye.

The ad is an interesting way to adapt a recent ad for the holidays, but it does beg one question: if Santa shouldn’t watch the video in the sleigh, where is he supposed to watch it? Is he supposed to sit on a rooftop and watch it? Or maybe he’s supposed to watch it while he indulges in another serving of cookies and milk in your living room.

Aside from the different characters the other big difference is Santa uses a Samsung Galaxy Note II while his wife uses a Samsung Galaxy S3. It shows that both phones have the same features, but aside from the end sequence and the fact that Santa’s phone is bigger than Mrs. Claus’.

Both the Samsung Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note II are currently available on all four major U.S. carriers with varying colors and prices. The Galaxy S3 starts at $199 across all carriers, and the Galaxy Note II costs $299 on all carrier except T-Mobile which charges $369 for the phablet.
