Smart way to find Tablet PC drawings on the web

Published

on

Loren Heiny shares a simple trick to better find Tablet PC-created  line drawings on Google. Basically, use the search term “Tablet PC” in an advanced image search, selecting “line drawings” as the content type. Also works for specific applications, like ArtRage, Alias Sketchbook  and Windows Journal, by swapping the search term. Good way to meet your fellow Tablet PC artists. This is a nice tip of interest. I tried it and noticed that selecting the “line art” function only gets you black and white or gray scale line are. No color line art comes up, which was surprising. Many of my webcomics drawn on mobile devices are line drawings in color.

I noticed that they also have a search option called “clip art,” but I don’t think anyone would call a cartoonist’s work clip art (at least not my style). Keep up the great reporting.
