Sprint iPhone 4 Pre-Orders Live Now, iPhone 4S on Friday

If you’ve been waiting for a Sprint iPhone, you can preorder the iPhone 4 today direct from Sprint. The iPhone 4S will be available for order on Friday October 7th.

The Sprint iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S were announced for Sprint on Tuesday, by Tim Cook at the “Let’s Talk iPhone.” event.

The Sprint iPhone 4 is the same device that has been on Verizon since February, and comes with a lower starting price ($99) than the new iPhone 4S ($199). The Sprint iPhone 4S will be available on October 14th, and brings a better camera, the assistant app Siri, a faster processor and several new features.

You can order the Sprint iPhone 4 for $99 today for $99. the off contract price is listed at $549, but you don’t appear to have that option of ordering just yet. The Sprint iPhone 4 is available in black and white, and has 8GB of memory to keep your apps, photos and media.

Sprint is the only carrier that still allows new customers to purchase an unlimited data plan, which gives the smaller carrier an edge for new iPhone buyers.

If you are able to swing the extra $100 for the Sprint iPhone 4S, it is a better deal. You get a faster processor, double the storage, access to the new Siri Assistant (shown in the video below) as well as the ability to mirror your iPhone 4S to a HDTV or projector without wires if you have an Apple TV.
