Sprint’s Sierra Wireless Compass 597

Sprint has introduced a new tiny USB modem, the Sierra Wireless Compass 597 that not only offers 3G connectivity but GPS functionality as well as a micro SD slot. For MacBook Air fans this looks like it is designed to fit into the USB slot without a dongle. The Sierra Wireless Compass 597 is supposedly headed for a release in Q2 (aren’t we in Q2?) and will set you back $49.99 (after a rebate) with a two year contract.
