Gamers Petitioning for Offline Multiplayer

Gamers Petitioning for Offline Multiplayer

Battlefront gamers continue to ask EA and DICE for a more robust offline mode and it appears that EA and DICE are at least entertaining the idea.

There is a lengthy thread over on EA's website and it includes tons and tons of requests for a deeper offline mode. Gamers want an offline mode that mirrors the multiplayer version of the game complete with bots. As one gamer puts it, a "lot of us like fighting against bots without having to worry about all the issues that can come with playing online."

EA and DICE haven't confirmed anything but it does look like they're listening to fans and gamers. There are apparently still some technical aspects that need to be worked out but the single player team is investigating to see if they can make it happen.

This would be a huge addition to the game if it happens. Remember, EA and DICE have promised free content outside of the paid DLC and it could be that this is part of it. If you're interested, head here and make your opinion known.
