The Sumo Lounge Omni Plus is an amazing office or gaming accessory. After spending a month using the Omni Plus to work on in my office and to game with in my basement it’s tough to call this awesome piece of furniture a bean bag.
This is not a bean bag like you sat on while playing NES at a friend’s house growing up. In fact there aren’t even beans inside the Sumo Lounge Omni Plus — it’s filled with shredded foam.
The Sumo Lounge Omni Plus is $169 from Sumo Lounge with free shipping. If this is too big or too small, they offer a variety of additional sizes and options.
When it arrived in the mail I though it was the wrong item since the package is insanely small, but after 24 hours the foam expanded to fill the 6-foot by 5-foot sack that keeps the foam in place. The Omni Plus comes in a dozen color options that you can swap in or out by choosing a suede cover.
One of the first things people flock to when they come to the office or the game room is the Sumo Lounge. It’s proven a favorite for kids, adults and pets.
When you order the Sumo Lounge Omni Plus you get one suede cover in a color of your choice. The cover is completely washable, which is great considering how much our two poodles love to use the Omni Plus when I am not on it.
One of the reasons I love the Omni Plus is that the 6-foot by 5-foot bean bag is easy to use in a variety of positions depending on what you need to do.
I started out by using it in the office as a lounge chair style seat when I wanted to work on a laptop in a more relaxed manner. The foam is easy to get to the position you want and the large size makes it possible to lean back and relax while still working on my computer.
I’ve used a Sumo Lounge Sultan for over a year while gaming and it’s nice, but I didn’t really use it for working in my office and it does take up more space.
In the last year we’ve been reviewing more games, tough I know, which means I spend more time sitting in front of a TV playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Madden 16 and other titles. I’m not a fan of sitting on a couch far away from the TV, and I prefer to lean forward while I play.
With the ability to switch the layout of the Sumo Lounge Omni Plus I can get the perfect spot where I can lean in during intense moments of play and still lean back when the action subsides.
When it comes time to freshen up the position, just pick the Omni Plus up and shake it a little to loosen the foam and you can change how you use it. When it is spread out it is large enough for a nap, or even an overnight bed for someone to sleep off a fun night out.
The cover is very resilient. Both of the Sumo Lounge beanbag chairs I own look like new after a lot of use — even with two small dogs who often take them over and friend’s kids diving on to the bean bag like a giant stunt pillow.
Anyone who wants to add a comfy place to work, or a customizable chair for gaming to their home or office should check out the Sumo Lounge Omni Plus.
