While T-Mobile recently hosted a temporary sale for its version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, the carrier is amidst a full blown lengthy sale for the phablet right now which has seemingly left one half of its stock unavailable online. Right now, while the gray Galaxy Note 2 is listed as in stock, the white Galaxy Note 2 is currently out of stock with no return in sight.

The T-Mobile Galaxy Note 2 is close to a complete sell out online.

The device, according to cached versions of the webpage, has been sold out for a number of days online and one of the contributing factors has likely been the price cuts that T-Mobile has been offering for its Galaxy Note 2.

Earlier this year, the carrier slashed the Galaxy Note 2 pricing down to $199.99 on-contract, a deep discount from its standard $370 on-contract price. That promotion only lasted a weekend. More recently though, T-Mobile has offered that deal for an extended period of time on both the white and gray versions of the Galaxy Note 2. Oddly enough, a cached version of the site from today lists the phone as cheap as $99.99 on-contract, but that price has since jumped back up to $199.99.

That said, the gray version of the Galaxy Note 2, like the white Galaxy Note 2, could sell out at any time due to T-Mobile’s generous price cuts which of course come shortly after the company enabled 4G LTE speeds through a software update and slightly before the carrier is expected to announce its plans to do away with subsidized pricing.

T-Mobile’s Galaxy Note 2 is now the first T-Mobile device that can take advantage of 4G LTE data speeds and HSPA+ 42 speeds as well. T-Mobile will be launching its 4G LTE network in the days ahead and those in areas covered by the network will have the best of both worlds.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is T-Mobile’s 5.5-inch phablet which comes equipped with the large display, quad-core processor, 8MP camera, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and now, 4G LTE data speeds.
