While the Nexus 4 remains sold out through the Google Play Store, those looking to get their hands on T-Mobile Nexus 4 might soon be able to as T-Mobile is evidently set to start offering the device through all of its retail stores across the United States.
When the T-Mobile Nexus 4 launched back in November, the device only launched in select T-Mobile locations, now though, it’s looking like it will reach more of T-Mobile’s corporate owned outlets. TMoNews has unearthed a piece of evidence that suggests that the Nexus 4 will be heading to all T-Mobile retail outlets during the month of January. It’s unclear exactly when stock might start appearing in T-Mobile stores that are without Nexus 4 stock.
T-Mobile may not confirm widespread stock so it could be that the only way to find out if there is indeed stock is by calling or walking into a local store T-Mobile store and asking about the Nexus 4’s availability.
Currently, the Nexus 4 is sold out through T-Mobile’s online store so it could be that stock will be extremely limited when these devices do arrive in T-Mobile stores this month. The Nexus 4 has been in and out of stock at T-Mobile so it’s clear that it, like Google, is also struggling to keep up with demand for the widely popular Android phone that replaced the Galaxy Nexus back in November.
Google’s unlocked version of the Nexus 4 though has been sold out since December with both the 8GB and 16GB Nexus 4 variants unavailable to purchase. Google and LG have pointed fingers at each other in regards to the shortage and as of yet, it’s unclear as to when the Nexus 4 might return to Google’s Play Store in the United States and elsewhere.
In the meantime, potential buyers have had to rely on applications to check for availability or have had to settle for paying expensive prices on third-party sites like eBay and Craigslist which are both selling the device above its advertised price.
